Arsons burn in the city

September 18^th, 2007

In recent weeks, fires have burned in Parksville. "We've had 12 fires ... four fires lit over the weekend,"said Const. Jeff Scott from Oceanside RCMP. "We're looking at whether they are connected." The fires have been small, set in dumpsters or tires. The number 666 is spray painted nearby. Scott said so far there have been no injuries but whenever there is a fire and firefighters are called out the chance of injuries goes up.
