Grand Prix d'Art July 26th, 2008 Grand Prix d'Art ~ July 26 ~ This is a "race" where competing artists must complete a work of art “en plein air” in the space of three hours. This year each artist will be assigned a zone in the picturesque town of Qualicum Beach by lottery. The work must represent or be inspired by some thing or person that is visible from the assigned location. Walk around the town and watch the artists complete their painting.
